IBM THINK City
Role: Senior Producer Due to the COVID-19 global pandemic, IBM canceled IBM THINK 2020, their annual flagship conference. Due to this cancellation, IBM needed to pivot the delivery of their THINK City content which had originally been planned as a large in-person experience at THINK 2020. Working with GPJ, Spinifex, and Tool, IBM moved the THINK City content into two separate deliveries: 1) an online activation; 2) an in-person experience for mid-size events. Both experiences provide users with a behind-the-scenes look at how IBM is helping clients transform their industries. The storytelling is done through voiceover and visuals in four industry transformation stories: Smarter Port, Smarter Response, Smarter Living, and Smarter Factory. GPJ partnered with Spinifex to create the online version which was an interactive web experience. For the in-person mid-size activations, GPJ fabricated four LED-animated units designed by Tool.
